Chaplain Carly Arnold has been blown away by the generosity of her local community after Mitchell & Brown Retravision in Geraldton donated a surprise air fryer to the Early Childhood Program at Mullewa District High School.

The Early Childhood (kindy and pre-primary) teacher, Sarah has introduced baking into her classes with the students as part of their weekly routine and curriculum. The classes teach her students life skills from an early age.

The only problem was the Early Childhood classroom is located down the road from the main school. This meant Sarah had to plan and navigate getting students to and from the main school every time she needed to do a cooking lesson with them.

Carly chatted with Mitchell & Brown about the problem Sarah was having and they were more than happy to donate the air fryer as a surprise to the class!

The air fryer will allow the students an opportunity to learn and grow their life skills, active listening, hand and eye coordination, following instructions and patience.

Sarah looks forward to testing out the new air fryer with her students next week who will no doubt enjoy the food.
