Almost 400 participants ran in the annual Women's Fun Run on August 1 raising funds for chaplaincy.

Almost 400 participants ran in the annual Women's Fun Run on August 1.

Beginning at the Queens Gardens, runners could partake in either a five-kilometre run or walk, or a ten-kilometre run.

The event celebrated the Bunbury Women's Fun Run 15th Anniversary.

The rain and hail did not deter people from participating with almost 100 runners hitting the course at 8am before the 800m Princess Run took place for children ages two to seven.

Bunbury Regional YouthCARE District Council was one of the event beneficiaries along with the South West Refuge and Waratah Support Centre.
